There’s a very cool feature in ‘Need for Speed: Shift’ which allows you to pause at any second, rotate the camera and take an in game snap shot. so here’s my Cossie.

project 2 was a case study, which means we build a model of a building done by a famous architect with the goal of discovering something about that building. almost all projects this semester focus on the control of natural light, and the buildings we were assigned for our study reflected (no pun intended) on that- click for pics (more…)

all of us finally found some time to get back together for some kinod dinner and…ice skating??!
thank you christie ^ for having your birthday in early october :p the timing couldn’t have been better for a much needed get together.
Linh was the only one with enough guts to take his slr camera out on the ice- i’ll put up those pics or a link to his blog when/if he uploads them.

i had some time to kill yesterday as i waited for ryan to get back to the beach house, kicking rocks, and sitting on the porch. i’ve been up for a day and a half working on my model, and felt completely retarded, so i was in a weird mood in general.
the evening was unusually cold, and it rained for a few minutes too, which left the sky with an amazing contrast of light and dark- a much appreciated opportunity for me to get out my camera for a few quick photos around the block.
there were only a few minutes of light left, and fortunately i only had to wait about ten minutes for ryan to get there. we were celebrating the completion of my model. lol, well at least i was. any excuse to party : p
imagine seeing this every morning as you pull out of your driveway, and every evening as you come home -
aaah, i love long days- thankfully so cal looks like this everyday :3

update: tweaking the final design here and there. i just started building the final model tonight. hopefully i can have a full post up by mid-week.
